    As you will see from the question I'm new here, so here it is: How can I keep my plants short, should I just cut of the top leaves (this eems a litlle radical to me..)? Thnx

    You just need to have the lights quite close to the tops of the plants. Depending on what light you're using, but with floros you can get them real close to the tops. If you're using a HID then you need to be a bit more careful cos you don't wanna burn them (like I recently found out) - was just thinking you could be growing outdoors, so if you are then ignore the above

    Topping will keep the plant short and bushy. It will grow out sideways more then up. You can also just flower it when the plant is only about 3 weeks old to. You can also tie it down and bend the branches and make the plant grow sideways too.

    Those are a few examples that will achieve the desired results.
