Dude easiest thing to do is look at the check.....the name of the bank is on the check. Find that bank....there should be one within 5 min of you. Walk in with your Drivers liscense...sign the check...get your money....go buy your stash. No fees no problems. Take it to the bank the check was drawn on. Easy fast and hastle free....and NO FEES.....check cashing stores are wastes of money.

i can go into the bank the check is for with no account or anything, all i need is a drivers license????????

yes you can take it to the bank...even if you dont have an account there. Your employer does.....so the check funds can instantly be verified and your money is YOURS...lol well as long as ya got your drivers liscense or state ID with you.....call in the morning and they will tell you the same thing. Uhhh lets see...up here CITIZENS BANK is a large bank....If you had a check that was from your employer and it was a CITIZENS BANK check....walk in and cash that bad boy. Just make sure you take it to the right bank. lol

yup, that's all ya need. maybe a secondary piece of id too...but usually as long as you have a picture id that'll be enough for cashing any check at its source.

sorry, would have mentioned this had i known it was a payroll check. they're usually the easiest to cash...like mentioned above, grocery stores will usually cash payroll checks too. some bars also...you'll have no probs cashing a payoll check.
