Yes I think those both would play a role.

I wouldnt top, bend, or otherwise assault her until she is much bigger....let her get some traction on growth with your new light.

Those secondaries will die off or produce some tiny itsy bitsy bud.....if you let it grow bigger......

Its the top secondaries you wanna get growing....but I wouldnt mess with her right now.

Let her grow and when she's cranking it out at about 1/2 inch a day, then you might want to revisit the issue.
HARDDON Reviewed by HARDDON on . Please Critique my little plant My plant is about 30 days old and has been on 18/6 all the way through. I had the plant under 2 40watt fluros (2 inch away) for the first 25 days and I just switched to 2 fluorex's @ 65w (2 inch away). It just started growing the seventh set of leaves and is still not much taller than a lighter. I fed it nutes once about a week ago. All comments/criticizims/tips are welcome. BTW: This is the first plant I've ever grown and I want to do my best make is a success. Hopefully the pics Rating: 5
