Heart problems?
although weed does speed up your heart somewhat, 170bpm resting is somewhat dangerous. especially if you're feeling heart problems the day after. it'd help if you could tell me what your resting heart rate is so i'd have something to go off of. You could just have a naturally fast heart beat, which could be caused by not enough exercise or cardiac arythmia. this is all speculation of course, but i only tell you to try and encourage you to see a doctor if the pain keeps up, or before you plan on smoking again.
sobriquet Reviewed by sobriquet on . Heart problems? I've been smoking pot for about a week, every time the first 10 minutes my heart would beat like crazy, but I didnt really care, because hey, I'm high right :) The last time it was going alot faster than usual, I managed to time it (while i was high) and it was 170bpm. And now, today, my heart feels really bad. I feel like someone has their fist on my heart all day. And if I try and run or do anything that makes my heart beat faster, I just can't, it goes way too fast and feels awful. Rating: 5
