dear deer.leave my dope alone or i will kill u
well...u could hide in a tree w/ a baseball bat...i'm a avid hunter(only for food not for pleasure) and nothing short of mesh wire will stop them...u could fill pepsi cans w/ beads or sumthin and sting them @ ground lvl for about a 5-10ft radius from ur plants and when the deer hit them they will run but like everything short of fenceing they will get used to it in about 20-25 days i assume wolf urin may work but i duno if they can identify it if u dont live in a area populated by wolfs...jus dont grab doe piss or u'll have them every where...

Hunters Helping The Hungry
Hunters donated a record 2,520 deer to the Hunters Helping the Hungry (HHH) program, providing over 80,000 pounds of venison to needy families across the state. For the first time, deer donations from hunters exceeded 2,000. This yearâ??s record is almost a 50 percent increase over last year.
The 2002 season marks the 11th consecutive year that the Division of Natural Resources Wildlife Resources Section (WVDNR) has sponsored the HHH Program. During this time, generous hunters and financial contributors have enabled the processing of 10,478 deer. With an average of nearly 38 pounds of ground venison produced from each deer, more than 388,000 pounds of highly nutritious meat has been made available to needy families throughout West Virginia.
Hunters participating in the program take their deer to approved meat processors where it is turned into two-pound packages of ground venison. The Mountaineer Food Bank of Gassaway and the Huntington Area Food Bank, both members of Second Harvest, collect the venison and then distribute it to the needy through their network of qualified charitable food pantries, soup kitchens, and agencies. Financial support for the HHH comes from concerned individuals, businesses, conservation organizations, and churches.
For the fourth year in a row, the West Virginia Council of Churches established and promoted a Share the Harvest Sunday in November. Participating Churches asked each member to contribute one dollar to the HHH program. Since the Share the Harvest Sunday was implemented, approximately $35,000 has been received to date from West Virginia churches, and plans are needed to expand this worthy venture to all churches that wish to participate.
West Virginia is fortunate to have the generosity of so many hunters. The potential for HHH to continue to donate thousands of pounds of venison to the needy each year makes it a wonderful and worthwhile program. However, this year the total cost of this program was over $119,000. There is a lot of interest in this program, but the WVDNR cannot continue the HHH program at this cost without finding additional financial contributions.

Businesses, churches, organizations, or individuals wishing to be a part of this wonderful program and make a tax-deductible donation should contact Marshall Snedegar at (304) 558-2771 or email: [email protected].

kill a deer it wont go back ant tell its freinds to stay the fuck away but shoot it a few times with a paintball gun or ruber bulets and your problem should go away (probably limping)
alternatively if you are the nerdy tipe build a few trip wires near the site wired to dynamite or pipe bombs. extream i no but if it comes down to it and like you say, if its war....
(dont actualy put up explosives as they are very dangerous)
i just use pee.

the deer are destroying my tomato plants, so my ears pricked up yesterday, when the 'garden show' on my radio, recommended this stuff: Deer Scram Deer Repellent - Get rid of deer and rabbits. Guaranteed to keep deer away. Deer Repellant to Protect Your Garden and Shrubs
he swore it works, said it lasts about 45 days, and said that rain doesn't hurt it, actually works a bit better with moisture ... I haven't tried it, little late for the tomatoes... :smokin:

Friend of mine had a bear problem with her trash cans. She found some chili pepper in the dollar store, stocked up and liberally sprinkled her garbage. Bears went elsewhere.
Now think of how big a deer's nose is. How it feels to get chili powder in your nose.I'd get some chili powder! Of course, it will break down and be washed away by rain, but it won't hurt the earth. - Granny:hippy:
