Since Im new to all this growing heres my question. I have 7 plants going right now. Due to circumstances what was to be an indoor grow started outdoors. The weather here has been perfect so I figured to save on the electric bill I would just leave them outside. They have no bugs no holes ( knocking on wood). I think 6 of the 7 are Sativas...pics are posted under the indoor grow. I know they would grow much faster inside with the extra hours of light per day. Is there any thing I can do to make the transition easier? Should I start them inside for only a few hours each day or just move them in and let them do their thing? I wish I knew what strains I had so I could provide more info....but I dont. I would say they are about a foot tall now...except for the Indica....shes just getting very bushy. Height isnt really an issue as I have a trusted associate who can build or do pretty much anything I need done. Just dont want to move them and shock the hell out of them. I also plan on putting them except for the Indica into 5 gallon buckets....with Foxfarm soil....I also have some large rocks on the bottom to prevent root lock. The only thing wrong at all that I can see is there are like 2 yellow leaves on 2 plants...but thats all. The rest are healthy green. Any info is appreciated. Temp inside is averaging about 73 to 76 with a high of 83. Humidity has been around 60% but its also been brutally hot up here. Thanks in advance for any help

In my opinion, I would place them under what ever light you want.

If they are outdoors, they should be about ready to flower.

Check for flowering before throwing indoors into veg cycle.

If they are not yet flowering, indoor light will be fine.

Make the transition from outdoor to indoor fast and sweet.

Make the transition from indoor to outdoor slow but deliberate...

Make sure you have room for the sativas to double and more in height.

Thanks Hard....The ceilings are about 9 feet. The plants are only about a foot tall. I will be updating the pics this friday. I should have enough room to let them get to 2 foot and then flower. I did notice a few tiny hair like stems comming from the top of the plant but it may just have been new growth. Anyway hopefully with the pics the experts can tell me where I stand. I might just leave them outside till then. Besides my Mylar has yet to arrive and while I have emergency reflective blankets set up....I think it might be better just to wait. I also was under the impression that even if MJ starts to flower <usually to determine sex> you could throw it back into 18/6 to restart veging? Throwing a flowering plant into re-veg, it is said, and I tend to agree, is akin to having your son wear dresses their whole life then being surprised when he grows up gay



What i mean is some say that causes females to go hermie and I do believe fucking with the plants light cycle to where you alter the hormonal secretions could and probably should affect the entire organism as a whole.

Is it enuff to alter the flowering properties of balls vs. flowers?

Some swear by it.

As for you 2 foot plants...hell if you have 9 feet....GO FOR IT...make the 2 foot growth turn into a 3 foot plant... the extra 20 or so days it will take to grow the extra foot will add tremendous harvest totals

If I were you I would, right now, grab a nice stem and clone it and then flower it....or at least that would have worked a few weeks ago.

I think by now, most outdoors are showing sex....and if not....the sex has ALREADY been determined.

I would grab them, and throw them into veg. 9 foot ceilings are nice....

I had 6' to work with.......

Anyhow, hope I offered some insight and prolly created more questions than answered...but some much of this is decisions, decisions, decisions.......

Thanks man.... I have decided that I may even get some pictures tomorrow....Friday at the latest.... I will post each one and then maybe you can tell me....The Indica is getting bushy and the Sativas are just starting to have shoots off the shoots....if ya know what I mean. I dont think they are flowering yet....even if they are I can just put them in the same light cycle as they have outdoors now. This will at least help me with the weather situation and having to make sure they dont get blasted by thunderstorms. Temps will be a lot cooler for them in the day...and night temps will stay about the same. Plus my mylar is yet to arrive....christ it was only comming from Ohio and it was sent last thursday. A whole week to go less than 200 miles :::smacks head::: oh well. Thanks for the help Hard
