Any ideas? About 2 weeks old. Gave them a very weak fert solution in Britta filtered water. Almost nothing so it sure seems like that wouldn't cause this. Did it to the last grow and they grew like crazy. Just transplanted a few of them as roots were just starting to come out the bottom holes in 6" containers. Put them in 3 gallon containers with nice airy soil with some perlite in it. Dampened the soil just a little with a spray bottle. Fan blowing across them and cfls. Other plants don't have this 'problem'. THANKS!

Hard to see I guess in that photo but little yellow spots all over the newer leaves.

Have you used a foil spray on them, it could be leaf rot?

Most of the time leaf rot is caused by water staying on the leaves overnight.

if u dont mind when r how long in2 the grow did u transplant out off the 6 inch pots?cause mine r in 6 inch now and r showin signs off roots comin through the bottom and im think its time to give em a bigger home

Way too small for nuteing at this time in soil grow.

just curios how long would u leave it?
i heard after the second set off true leaves that right? and could u not build there nutes totlerance by buidin the dose up startin from a couple weeks old like a few mls in 5 ltrs of water and work up from that each time u water and use up the 5 ltrs, doin this slowely over the weeks until u get 2 ur desired dose?

I did foliar spray them once when I saw this 'problem' (little epsom thinking it was possibly a Mg deficiency as I had that happen on the last grow) but let it dry before I put it back under the lights. Plus with the fan blowing across them as I have there's now way water sat on the leaves for very long at all. Maybe a couple minutes. But thanks for the suggestion.

Stupid I guess. But there was some method to my madness. As I've mentioned before, I fertilized the crap out of my first grow (as compared to what people say to do) and they grew like weeds. By this time they were twice as big and bushy as this grow and from the same bag. But I have read numerous articles that suggest giving young plants fertilizer and in fact a lot of people grow with soil with fertilizer built right in and it seems they do ok. I can't imagine that adding some to the soil is any diffrent than having it in the soil when you begin. Just flappin' my lips. What ya think?

"I dont see anything wrong." I can't imagine that little yellow spots all over the leaves is normal. Possibly at some point down the road but not so young. But I bow to more experience than I in this hobby.

I think I'll let them dry out a little and see what happens. Been having to water them pretty often as they dry out it seems every day. At least in the 6" pots. I thought possibly overwatering but I've never read where it causes the yellow spots and the leaves are always nice and perky (although twisted a little...from birth).

The nute burn i am familiar with normally starts on the outter edges and works it wayin.

I am sure there are others i am not familiar with cuz i dont over nute anymore.

I say give it a couple more days to see if the plant is just processing and producing chlorophyll a bit slow on those leaves.

Though i still dont see the reason for alarm....

but of course maybe cuz thats i am using a monochrome computer sreen...hehehhehehhe

I don't think I over neut either but I really don't think this is a neut burn. More a deficiency. One site says iron which seems to effect the growing tips/new growth more than other parts of the plant. But why would I have an iron deficiency? Just trying to learn.

As for alarm? Sort of like if my daughter had a rash. I wouldn't just think it'd go away but see if there were something I could do to help her out. These plants are like my offspring. My kids. I'm like a mother hen always concerned. You know how it is.
