long: that whole thing on cig smoke bein radioactive comes from when they r growing the tobacco plants, the fertilizer they use have phosphates in it and laymens terms this means its radioactive, ive heard a bunch of diff radioactive elements but the entire plant becomes radioactive enuf said. lol as for other areas, one thing u might hear alot is that marijuana smoke has 400 or over 400 chemicals in it, some ppl say 420 but thats cuz they dont know the real meaning of the term 420, 400 or over is true the over is mostly a liability thing u know they will find more eventually so they r leaving themselves a hole, anyways so yea there r a bunch of chemicals but in comparison a cup of coffee has about 1000 or more, lol i read something about all the chemicals that have been tested in marijuana smoke but i dont remember the numbers but i remember it being a very good thing, and the majority of them being harmless, something else u might here is that the smoke is carcinogenic, this has alot to do w/ the radioactive thing but the scientists paid by the govt tried to find any material that is carcinogenic not just radioacive ones, and they said they found a bunch but a study in madrid spain in 2004 proved otherwise, they found NONE but they did discover that marijuana actually fights certain types of cancer, the types were leukemia, a form of breast cancer and i dont remember the last one, but it also stopped tumor growth and even retarded existing tumors. ok the last major issue ive heard for marijuana smoke is the tar, a study ull come accross more often than not is that marijuana smoke has anywhere from 3-5 times the amount of tar than tobacco (tar is the crap that makes breathing tough) anyways this study is based on tobacco leaves vs marijuana leaves, ive got the study in a post somewhere on here, its a funny study it shows how scientists litterally asphyxiated there monkeys just to get the results they wanted, it was something like the equivalent to 30 joints in 5 min of smoke lol poor monkeys but ya its a good read i think its called cannabis vs tobacco or something like that in the medicinal section, anyways as we all no like no one smokes the leaves, we all smoke the buds which have been shown to have 1/3 or less the amount of tar than tobacco and the remaining tar as well as some of those chemicals if ur really that worried can be removed w/ a bong, waterpipe etc.. anyways those r all the major issues i can remember now anyways, so ya marijuana smoke is way the hell safer than tobacco smoke
p.s. marijuana is a bronchial dialator for all u unlucky ppl w/ asthma out there so ya it does the opposite of emphysema lol
