long: that whole thing on cig smoke bein radioactive comes from when they r growing the tobacco plants, the fertilizer they use have phosphates in it and laymens terms this means its radioactive, ive heard a bunch of diff radioactive elements but the entire plant becomes radioactive enuf said. lol as for other areas, one thing u might hear alot is that marijuana smoke has 400 or over 400 chemicals in it, some ppl say 420 but thats cuz they dont know the real meaning of the term 420, 400 or over is true the over is mostly a liability thing u know they will find more eventually so they r leaving themselves a hole, anyways so yea there r a bunch of chemicals but in comparison a cup of coffee has about 1000 or more, lol i read something about all the chemicals that have been tested in marijuana smoke but i dont remember the numbers but i remember it being a very good thing, and the majority of them being harmless, something else u might here is that the smoke is carcinogenic, this has alot to do w/ the radioactive thing but the scientists paid by the govt tried to find any material that is carcinogenic not just radioacive ones, and they said they found a bunch but a study in madrid spain in 2004 proved otherwise, they found NONE but they did discover that marijuana actually fights certain types of cancer, the types were leukemia, a form of breast cancer and i dont remember the last one, but it also stopped tumor growth and even retarded existing tumors. ok the last major issue ive heard for marijuana smoke is the tar, a study ull come accross more often than not is that marijuana smoke has anywhere from 3-5 times the amount of tar than tobacco (tar is the crap that makes breathing tough) anyways this study is based on tobacco leaves vs marijuana leaves, ive got the study in a post somewhere on here, its a funny study it shows how scientists litterally asphyxiated there monkeys just to get the results they wanted, it was something like the equivalent to 30 joints in 5 min of smoke lol poor monkeys but ya its a good read i think its called cannabis vs tobacco or something like that in the medicinal section, anyways as we all no like no one smokes the leaves, we all smoke the buds which have been shown to have 1/3 or less the amount of tar than tobacco and the remaining tar as well as some of those chemicals if ur really that worried can be removed w/ a bong, waterpipe etc.. anyways those r all the major issues i can remember now anyways, so ya marijuana smoke is way the hell safer than tobacco smoke
p.s. marijuana is a bronchial dialator for all u unlucky ppl w/ asthma out there so ya it does the opposite of emphysema lol

oops, lol i just read some of nullifics articles and they said the same thing i did, the only thing i found that i dont think was true is the whole 1970s reefer madness thing, reefer madness was created either in 1937 or around then, it helped lead to marihuanas illegalization in the US, anyways during Reagans second term i believe as president he did numerous studies on marijuana, these were studies just to find out information, no bias or anything, and well he found only positive things, thats y the late 60's and 70's were all about smokin pot, but then in the late 70's tests started up that had the bias of finding negative things and this is where u get all the bullshit studies that freevibe.com and all those sites use. lol i was gonna say somethin but i forgot lol, but i agree w/ nochowder, ive heard u have to smoke 40,000 times wut it takes u to get really stoned to actually OD and die from marijuana so ya thats probly about 5 acres, lol anyone seen w/o a paddle?? lol imagine that in a greenhouse times 5 and inhaling every bit of smoke there is, then u would probly die lol but good god wut a happy death it would be lol

I think from what i have read and from what i believe that pot is they are both "bad" for you but pot is just a little less harmful. The way i see it is ok ill say pot is more harsh on your lung but it has extremely lower addictive traits than tobacco. So one is not so harsh but extremely addicting, and one is pretty harsh and basically non-addictive.

Personally id rather be a user of a harsh and non-addictive drug than an addict of a not so harmful drug.

But i smoke weed and cigarettes so fuck it and smoke em if ya got em

i see that most of you are not cig smokers. how much weed do y'all smoke each day? i smoke a cig hourly. the reason why cigs are worst is because that people get addicted to it and have to smoke regularly. unless you smoke a joint every hour then cigs are worst for you. just talking bout this made me spark a cig up already.

cannabis CAN be as dangerous as tabbaco or alcohol, if its abused. with the skunk weed potencys nowadays,many stoners MAY develop pychosic's in the future, if they smoke powerfully enough weed for long enough. however if you drink vodka everyday for 5 years, i can guarntee you that your gonna be alot worse off than if you smoke skunk weed everyday for 5 years! its all about moderating yer use. now im gona go and smoke another bong!
