Just wondering if anyone else listens to them. I think I play them more than anything else while baked, and i've never shared it with anyone who wasn't lost in it within 5 minutes.

If you aren't familiar with them yet (or art rock in general), i'd advise securing yourself some of their better songs:

At the drive in was amazing work as well, but towards the end, specifically tracks like Enfilade, you can see a shift in direction.

And Sparta, that other band that came out of it, was just lame.

Haha, you're awesome sobriquet. TMV is so amazing. I'm going to see them with System at the end of september, they're playing at the All State Arena near chicago. I can't wait to go. Hm, maybe I can take some video. If I can, I'll upload some for you guys.

As for songs, what about L'via L'viaquez? Or Televators? Heheh, those are a couple of my favorite, although there aren't many songs I don't like, and I have them all (i think). I got the discography, so I have studio and live versions, they're great.

Glad to find more Mars Volta fans. (as well as Zappa, I'm in love with him right now)

'Enfilade' is definitely a good song, but I think my favorite would be 'Miranda, that ghost just isn't holy anymore'.

yea im seein them phoenix im fuckin ecited! only seen them once before, it was badass, they were the only band playing and they went on for like 3 hours straight without a break it was amazing, and maui wowie, what album is Enfilade on? i thoguht i had all their songs but i guess not... eunuch provoceteur or however u spell it is prolly my fav song tho
