I was just giving what goes on around here, in Canada. I know the U.S is very hard on MJ laws, so it might be a little more risky than here. Only time will tell. But I think if you ordered from a company within the same country as yours, it doesn't cross any major borders so you might be in the clear. I hope they make it for ya! Confinscating "non-traditional" pipes is bullshit. They are clean, unused pipes. How do they know someone won't use a glass pipe for pipe tobaccy? Stupid. America is stupid(the laws that is, not the people)

... I'm striking out with searches today, couldn't find anything (here or elsewhere on the web) on the FEDs moving to ban all glass pipes. Anyone else remember seeing something on this, with a link?

Legally yes they can confiscate anything they have any inclination that could be used as drug paraphrenalia but its one of those laws like the helmet law, ya its a law, but its rarely if ever enforced bottom line is - keep a low profile (aka dont go waving a bubbler out your window), and carry only clean pipes or pipes that actually have been used for tobacco and you should be safe.

technically it is illegal to sell, order, ship, ect.. anything that is not a "traditional" pipe. If you look at the FED LAWS. It is better to get slow shipping on items of this nature. Parcel Post is rarely checked, It's when you do express or overnight that they more thoroughly check. they would much rather find drugs.

I can tell you that Fedex and UPS (at least as of 2003, not sure about today) is MUCH safer for mailing questionable items.

1. They do not X-Ray boxes at the sorting facilities (recieving may depending on where you go).

2. DEA/FAA never checks parcel flights out of airports.

3. Most of the time commercial shipping outlets don't even think about checking packages for questionable items.


Really, if you're ever going on vacation or something and want to take a little with you for the trip, wrap it in some bubble wrap and throw it into a box with some shampoo, soap, toothbrush, etc (other things you might need for the trip but won't be upset if it's drop kicked off the back of a UPS truck) and ship it to yourself at the hotel.
