Most plants out there are hybrids really, where the breeders are trying for the best of both yeilds and high. Depends on what type of high you like. Clear and uplifting(sativa), or cloudy stuck on the couch type high(indica). Indicas give higher yeilds since they were initially produced for their resin and hash making. Seems to me that a lot more of the older mosre experienced smokers and conissours really prefer the sativa high. A lot of younger people like the indica or they don't really know the difference as long as they get stoned

It depends on your preferances of all aspects of the plant including the stone. Both indicas and sativas exist that can do what the other does.

Indicas and sativas exist that:

finish fast
are extremely potent
have a soaring effect
have a cerbral effect
have a couchlock effect
are tripping in their stones' nature
yield over 1000gs outdoors
grow well in SOG only
grow well in scrog only
grow well in sog and scrog
have good mould resistance
appeal to beginers experianced and commercial growers

and the list goes on and on

in the end you have to try a few differnet ones to see IF you find the one that best suits your needs.
