Did you ever notice that some big leaves swaying in the wind of the fan can hurt slightly some buds, rubbing against it ? In that case, the hairs of the bud become very short and brown... Is it recommended to let this occur ? Does it occur in your garden ?

I just tuck the larger fan leaves out of the way or tie them back to the main branch using twist ties.

do the fan leaves not need much light?

I tuck whenever it needs it, no matter what the cycle is.

The fan leaves are used mostly for internal temperature control, they do need some light to do their job and to make chlorophyll.

in the shade the shade leaves are fine.
they got big due to heat, which means your still will have a problem if heat is still an issue.

No, do not remove your fan leaves.

You can remove some...but certain ones only and after a lot of experience.

Its best to leave them alone.

thnxs 4 piontin that out cause my co workers on this grow 2 friends where insistin u take the fan leaves off imediatly
as always theres what people think, ie my friends, and the facts, ie harddon and zan and beeb an...........................
u know what i mean. im goin exactly from what im listnin 2 from urself and zandor.
i repotted 2day in2 pots like the 1s u had whore and cunt in ill post some updates later, when it gets dark.
im addin 4 more flouros because with the bigger pots theres just not enough light 2 cover all plants so, im out in a mo 2 wack up 4 more flouros.
i got a mix off bulbs, cool white so on so they will b wacked with lite.
just untill i get out and do the work i banged in a few regular lamps from the house 2 boost the light only 4 a fe2w hours wil that matter, cause if anythin(maybe the bigger pots)its doin a lot better with the lamp pionted directly above it. i have 2 keep checkin on her cause its a 100watt and its only 3-4 inch away ill go take some pics and show u.
