I got up today and when I checked my mail I found this strange little envelope
...then ups came with my radioshack pocket microscope...so I looked at trichs until I passed out Dorothy style>>>
Anyway here are pix documenting 3rd grow from blueberry jack herer seeds germ'd on 8-5-05...Please take a seat and enjoy the show ...3 months to go

1. 2 blueberry x jack herer from KK's
2. 2 seeds...my trusty mayo jar
3. floating in the pool, orior to bedtime
4. lights out in the staging cabinet tomorrow we transfer to paper towel and plates...thanks for viewing...follow along, will update weekly on this thread.. latewood

Ok so what's the jar used for? Secret technique to sprout?

marc...yes! I read when doing my research for my 1st grow...This came from some old master grower, put seeds in jug of water w/superthrive or liquid Karma or etc...overnight. This softens the shell and allows for easier sprouting...all I know is did it before and it works great!!! Anyway, I paid for these seeds, I want to give them the best chance of success...notice strain...can't wait!ooops I smell that smell...lights just went out..thanks for the question..hope this helps...

Sounds like an interesting strain. I've grown Afghan x Jack Herer and it was an amazing smoke. Good luck!

hey, Chowder...I got a rush when I went to dutch passions and saw blueberry...read the testimonials and the only person who rated it below 7 was some dipshit who didn't even know how to grow...some guy said it made his face numb...now that got me...
I understand it to be real narcotic...and as for jack herer...It is supposed to be some of the best around, but I haven't gotten much response as far as what to expect growhints wise...thanks for responding...looks like we have the boards all to ourself tonight...did you have any problem with the server here today?

It made his face numb? ...hmm...sounds a little, oddish. JH goes straight to your head, hard and fast! It was a major energy rush when I smoked it.

A lot of growers I've come across said JH is an unstable plant is hard to grow. I don't know though, I had no problems growing it, although I did have a hard time diagnosing what was really wrong with it. I didn't know if it was nute burn or a P def. Then again, that was only my second successful grow.

A JH mixed with a hard indica Blueberry that is going to be a mindfuck .

As for the server, I was on here about 8hrs ago for about 30min and I had no problems. No problems tonight either. Peace

quick update 1 seed floated, one dropped to the bottom, supposedly dead, well I still papertoweled them just for confirmation...
Also, for Marc...the other reason to float them in jar overnight; is, if they float they are good and if they don't float, there dead, fill with water and drop to the bottom, bam!...we'll see what happens.later

latewood, just picking up on something you wrote. I've been reading on various faq's that the seeds that sink are the best to use, cos the 1's that float apparently have air in them & not an embryo. They should all float 1st, then best 1's will sink after a few hours. Dunno what's true
