Don't hack them.

Stretching is a bad thing, yes, but get those lights close to the plants. If you are using floros you can get as close as an inch with those. You can still recover them quite easily because it is so early in its life. When you transplant those little ones in a few more weeks, you put the plant deeper inside the new pot, cover the exposed, stretched out stem with dirt, and there you go, problem solved.

A little bit of stretching before its final transplant is okay as long as the plant can hold itself up. You can always recover it by covering that stem up. Good luck and keep us updated!
