Actually, that verse I cited from the Bible has caused fear and regret in millions of Christians throughout history, who thought they might have committed the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost and therefore would burn in Hell forever. And the Bible is not necessarily a good guide to a healthy, moral life. It promotes hateful ideas, such as murder, violence and sexism:

God orders genocide against a people whose ancestors got in the way of the Israelites crossing the desert hundreds of years ago. Good going, "Almighty".

The just punishment for kids teasing someone with insults is, of course, to send bears to rip them apart.
