Christianity isn't even an original religion, practically everything about it is taken from even more ancient pagan religions. Which the church condemned even after adapting some of their dates for holidays etc..

That's why they tell you not to question "God's" doings, and such, because that's Satan tempting you away.
They sure like to use fear on people to make them understand.
Believe me, it goes far deeper than just borrowing and renaming ancient holidays. Jesus' 'miracles' are all copied word for word from ancient Egyptian religion, his 'virgin birth' was not unique at all, a lot of ancient heroes were born to virgin mothers... Look it up, it's fascinating, and it makes you realize that Christianity is just a new name for the same old religion western Europeans and mediterraneans have been following for millennia.
