How to clean my bowl

Hey I'm a noob on the boards, but i know how to smoke, but I have this douche bag who used my bowl and smoked fucking CLOVES out of it! I nned to know how i can totaly clean it. I was thinking boil but i dont want it to shatter. If sumone could help me out that'd be great-Walrus

wash it under warm water, leave it in a sink with warm water running all night not hot just warm, then in the morning hand clean and dry it with paper towls/q-tips

Use rubbing alcohol. It will take the resin and a lot of the smell out. Add some sort of abrasive material (sea salts?) and shake it real good. Then rinse with hot water. Works pretty well and is much cheaper than commercial bowl cleaners. Hope that helps.

yea if it is glass use some rubbing alcohol & kosher salt

Yep...salt (even regualr salt works, just not as well) and rubbing alcohol...best way I know.

Might I suggest you try isopropanol rather than rubbing alcohol. Its 99% alcohol rather than 70%.
Less additives and a stronger cleaning power. You wont need any abrasives either.
Plus for just regular bowl/pipe cleaning ( not that nasty ass cloves resin ) if youre one who smokes their resin you can just run it through and pool the darkened iso on a plate or whatever and wait for it to evaporate ( or accelerate it if you know what youre doing ) and you have smokeables to spread on a paper for a nasty tastin joint that is rich in canabinoids.
I used to smoke it but the taste of pipe resin just turns me off.
