The theory behind Tying down is the Main stems get equil amounts of sunlight along the lenght of the Main stems.(wich produces more bud).
instead of just the Tops getting the Main Impact of the light the whole plant system gets the light More evenly...
(an old rose grower taught me that trick on my 5th grow.)..and i have never looked back.
