best tutorial to start with?

hey everyone, first time grower here and was wondering if u guys could link me up with the best place to start reading on how to grow. looking for a more basic tutorial because skimming through posts and stuff alot of them talk about nutrients and nitrogen in the soil and that stuff is over my head at this point. this will be an outdoor grow as well. thanks
