    Weed gone forever?

Do you guys think that one day Weed will be impossible to come by? I always worry about this. Because of the current War on Pot in the US, what if the US government takes it to a level of getting every, EVERY, country that even tollerates it to look at it the same way the US governemnt does. I'm not just talking about Amsterdam where it's legal to an extent, but places like Jamaica where it's not legal but so easy to come across. What if they take it to an extreme and make it where possesion of any amount here in the US, and you face jail time. Serious jail time too. Not a month or so but like 5 years. And they would make cultivation of it a serious crime. I live in Ohio and according to law here possesion of less than 100g is only a ticket of 100 dollars. I don't mind if it stays that way but I'm worried that if they crack down so hard that we won't have to worry about getting caught with it, but more worried about even finding it.

yeah i sometimes worry about this too. I just hope there will be a massive rebellion like some star wars shit. that would be a REAL war on drugs and fuck that would solve a lot more than all this bullshit with bush and fuckin uptight conservatives shorthairs and shit all over the world where the topic is too "inappropriate" to discuss seriously (thats actually what my social studies teacher said when i tried talking to her about the political aspects involved with weed). but maybe theres already a huge resistence that i dont even know about. if thats so, i want in fucker!

If anything, the laws are going to become more lenient. Look at how many states now allow "medicinal marijuana". The U.S. government has been interfering with California's state government about enforcing the federal law, but if more and more people and states start allowing marijuana, the federal government won't be able to do much about it.

Here is a flash cartoon about a stoner living in a world where the government has eradicated all pot: http://www.johnnyganjaseed.com

Anyhow, the War on Drugs is failing miserably. There is no possible way it could achieve its goal of rendering extinct the cannabis plant, because massive underground organizations and huge numbers of individuals are working diligently around the clock to propagate it. And as soon as one operation is shut down by the government, another one always pops up in its place because of the huge demand and the huge amounts of money involved. What is going on is that the government failed to learn from history (that is, alcohol prohibition) and hence our society has been doomed to repeat it. Just like alcohol prohibition, the immense difficulties of suppressing substances millions of people find desirable, combined with the huge amounts of organized crime prohibition creates, will force the government to give up its silly War on Drugs.

Think about it this way: what exactly is the ultimate goal of the War on Drugs? It is to rid society of all recreational drugs (except tobacco and alcohol, which have large corporations producing them that the government wouldn't dream of getting rid of, and have been the preferred drugs of rich white people for centuries). How could it possibly eliminate every bud, every plant, every seed, every last possibility of smoking pot? Has it made any progress whatsoever towards that goal? The figures show drug use is on the rise, so obviously it hasn't. We who break drug laws far outnumber those whose job it is to catch us (who also have to worry about other crimes), and we have found it not that difficult to maintain our lifestyles if we keep things on the down-low.

Tougher punishments won't cut it either. Tougher laws just don't stop people's drug habits. There are millions of us who smoke pot. The problem is that we have not organized to show our discontent with the status quo and have not set out to change it in large enough numbers. If every smoker took their stash to Washington and had a huge smoke-out protest until we saw legalization, they just might have to listen to us.

Well not even the extreme of completely eliminating it, but just making it about impossible for a normal person like me to get a hold of it. That would be horrible.

dude if that fucker named bush tris to make it so that everywere in the world it was a ieleagle activity to smoke pot to ease our minds of a hard days work or for some ppls they use pot as anti-depresents adn some use it for pain killers, and others just use it for a way to hang out with friends, now me i use it for all of those perpouses, and if bush ever tried to convert the entire world into hating pot, first off, there are still plenty of countries that he or other presidents have pissed off, and to piss off the retared fuck, the countrys that we are not peaseful with at the time, would problbe try to piss him off and legalize pot, and if that didnt happen, i would take out my rifel with the best scope i have, along with my hand gun, and find out were his ranch is at in texase and fucking shoot that, retarded cuzian fucker rite in the head. and, i would willingly go to jail for it, not only would it make me happie that i atleast slowed down what he was trying to do, but my mom and grandma and dad and 90 percent of my family. and i would make sure that i was under the influeancy of alcohal, and not weed, so that they cant say this is why pot is ielagle. becuz if u get stonded u will try and kill some one
