zandor ol pal!!! another cal mag ?

hey!! im gonna start feeding my k2 water for the last week today and i was wondering if i shud use cal mag along with the ro water? ive read in some places calcium is one of the only nutrients shell need up2 harvest. wud i b better using calcium nitrate, or will cal mag do? mayb i shudnt be using any?
if u can help id realy appreciate it. thanks ever so much

How far along into flower are you? If you are asking if you should use CalMag Plus the last 10-14 day's before you harvest? The answer is ok up to the last 7 day's then you flush everything. I like FloraKleen to flush my plants with either dirt or Hydro it works well and 8 bucks it's a good price. The last 7-day's before harvest you should only use water or water with a cleaning flush solution.

yes thanks zandor. im gonna harvest next wednesday on day 54. place her in the dark for 48 hours and then dry. ill just use water from today then. ive also heard that i shud cut the waterings down from 2 days to 3, is this a gd thing todo? i read it stresses the plant and causes more resin. thanks for helping!!

cutting off the water is not stress that's pissing off the plant.

The idea of flushing it to overwater anyway 3-times the volume. You just are finishing the plant so the overwater reaction will show about the time you cut the plant anyway.

You don't want it droppy when you cut it from lack of water do you?

sure dont!! so let me get this straight. from today ill water with only water. when i do this i use about 5 litres every 2 days. shud i flush the plant before its put in the dark? by that i mean use 3 times the volume? so 9 gallons. or shud i just water as usual rite up until the darkness. also zandor, do u mind answering this for me.

say u check your trichomes and there ready, but you have been feeding nutrients up until that very day, can u still harvest? or do you have to w8 a week so u can feed water. thanks for all your help

an extra week should not hurt you...if you flush smoke will be cooler, smoother and taste sweeter...

The time you have left just feed normal cycle but with only Ph adjusted RO water. The last 3 day's do your flush. I was talking to a friend who grows outside organic sativa strains and that is the exact way he finishes so I think it good to go.

Sure you can feed nutrients up to the morning you harvest. Should you; I don't think so. Flushing just makes it taste better and stopping feeding N the last 10-day's will force the plant to use up stored energy and that will improve the cure time and the taste.

sure did ty. only, you say flush the last 3 days, if im putting in the dark on the 10th u mean from the 7th right? also, do i flush every day for those last 3 days? 9 gallons a day? thats alot of water. im sorry im double checking, i just wanna b sure and thanks once again for being here to help me, its realy appreciated. btw i just nabbed a taster bud from my first k2 plant. i dryed it under a normal lamp and all i can say is god damn, this is some nice stuff, even without the proper drying it tastes sweet. ive got some real bad red eyes atm min lol, im also rambling alot heres a pic of it, hope u like, let me know what you think.

I forgot are you growing Hydro or dirt.

Hydro flush Only use Ph adjusted RO water.
Day 1 - you change the res add florakleen per the directions.
Day 2 - Do a full change of the water & florakleen again. Record the PPM level this time.
Day 3 - Check the PPM and see what the change is from day 2. If there is more then 25 PPM change goto step two again.
Day 4 - See day 3. Once the PPM only changes 25 PPM or less for 24 hours you are done.

Dirt you can follow the same steps but you need to catch the water runoff and are looking for only about 100 max change or less.
