My Setup..stuck

I started out with this great vision...
then I smoked.

My setup is three sections at: 3x3x9
the walls are 7 layers thick..
1.) White paint on the inside (additive: Heatshield R-20)
2.) Particle board
3.) Heatshield III 4'x250' *roll* (used for its heating/cooling properties; not for reflectiveness)
4.) Insulation
5.) Heatshield III
6.) Particle board or drywall
7.) Paint (additive: Heatshield R-20)

The Floor, ceiling, walls and doors all have the same width/protection; all around.
Keeping the temp inside stable as well as shielding heat signatures.
Their is one 6" vent fan in each section. Hoses lead to the edge of the attic and escape outside. (i intend on adding in-line ozone soon)

Section 1 - houses the clones in the bottom quarter and the Moms in the upper half.
Clones will have: New Wave T5 System - 2', 2 6500k Bulbs (cant afford this yet)
Moms have: Hydrofarm 125 watt Compact Fluorescent full spectrum bulb

Section 2 - 18hr room. Sun System Econogro MH 400 WATT

Section 3 - 12hr room. Sun System Econogro HPS 400 WATT

Section 4 - Is a seperate space with its own insulation and ventilation; for drying and cureing.

About 2' off the ground; for sections 2 and 3, im thinking I could add a shelf.
On the top I have four 3' x 6" pvp pipes, with five 5" net pot spaces.
(Hydrotron pebbles) for 5 plants per pvc to = 20 plants per section.
Below is for the res tank (plastic storage container)
[30' of 6" pvp tube plus 16 end caps came to around $150 from a local pluming contractor]

Where Im stuck is:
1.) will airstones in the res tanks and pvp tubes (for roots) and oscilating fan be enough O2? or will I have to install a fresh air intake to each section?

2.) How can i make transferring each pvp tube (containing 5 plants) from section 2 to section 3; easily?

Im going to have an airstone or two in each pvp section for the roots, plus the water in-line and drainage. Thats a bunch to have to unplug, replug. I wish I could put it on wheels; but the doors are just as thick as the walls; limiting movement.

Insidentally, I still havn't figured out how to make feet for the pvp tubes. I was thinking of smaller pvp with a few elbows and some glue...But am hoping others may have better ideas.

3.) How safe is it to install two new fuses in the box?


The point in this vision was to make things easier. But the more I put it together, the more complicated it became.

I have to stick with what I have now, because too much money has been invested already. I have clones waiting to go in; in a closet atm, that are too pathedic for me to even post pics of yet. They are alive but Im not sure for how long. I need to finish this project and get'r underway.

ya, I dont know how to build doors.
(i should have built the frame around it before I hung them)

So I wasted a bunch of time and sweat re-fitting new (stronger) hinges and rehanging all the doors. *which after adding all the insulation and plywood on the interior; made the doors really fuckin heavy and awkward*

I have furthor progress...but my cam is a pos.

I'm not sure about PVC, haven't grown a room, I only deal with boxes. As for the fuses thing, if u kno what ur doing, it'll be as safe as you make it.

Do you have something drawn out about your PVC question?

Make sure you have either door stop all the way around or your wood doors hang over on all sides.
You can use foam weather strip to seal the door and keep light leaks out.
Sub panels are not hard but you need to be comfortable around electricity and most people are not.

sheist - I dont really know electricity...hopefully I can get some more help; when I get to that part.

Zandor - I do have the door stops and weather stripping. Just not installed yet. (been wasting alot of time re-hanging the doors)
The pvc design is alot like the following pic. im going for four 6" pvc tubes side by side, in each section; (on a shelf 2' up from the floor) with the water tank below the shelf.
The idea was to move each tube into the next section...but would it be easier to just move the lights? (from blue to red/flower)
pump the water up to each pvc tube. will be slanted slighty for water to flow. Then drain straight down back into the res tank.
I have the design in my head; sort of...but putting it together has got me at a standstill atm.

Im not sure how I could come so far with Project 420 to just get stuck now...Im hoping you guys will be able to kick me in the ass; so I can get back to work onit.

I have done the pvc hydro setup. We built a wooden stand that every thing sat on, I'm sure a pvc stand would work just as well. We didn't have two chambers so moving them was really never an issue. Moving them shouldn't be so hard unless they are huge plants. I used a wood stand then just cut v-notches in the ends of the stand so the round pvc can sit in, or you could use some form of strap to hold them down. As far as moving from room to room install fittings in the tubes so that you can easily disconnect air and water tubing from the pvc chambers. The two rooms will have to be pretty identical to each other so transitions are smooth.

I am no licensed electrician but I work in a field very closely related. I built a sub electrical panel for a grow before that used 240vac to feed the panel with 10 120vac breakers in the sub panel. I think the total cost was less than $100, but I also had some of the materials due to my job.

The filter in that picture is up side down.

Doors are easy you build a 2x4 frame around the outside of the door. You then use like 1/2" door stop to frame in the door and place the foam tape on the doorstop. If you make the door flush with the outside frame you don't need to install doorknobs. A twist lock or pantry lock will be tight and work fine.

Oh why didnt I post here and get Zanders advice "before" I started?!?!

Hopefully I will have all 3 doors sanded, hung, level, able to freely open/close; by tonight. In fact, Im headed out to work on them right now.
If so, then I'll be able to add the doorstops and weatherstrips.

Once that part is complete; while its cooler at night, I'll finish connecting the exhaust fans in the attic.

This weekend should be: put in the shelfs, finish cutting the pvc tubes and setting up the system.

I still need to know if airstones in the res tanks (30 gal) and 2 in each pvc tube (3' long x 6" wide) is enough air??
I should point out that I do not have the pumps for the airstones in the tubes yet. (that will be after first harvest)
So as of now, I only have airstones in the res tanks.

I did buy more fans. So now each section will have:
Exhaust fan at the top
fan on the lamp
fan directed over the top of the plants; circulating air.

Im fairly positive overheating will not be an issue, but I am concerned about fresh air. (this system is air/light tight)
