My leaf edges on one plant in paticular looks like they are curlling up slightly.... Anyone know if this is normal? This plants leafs look alot wider than others. Must be the south african durban x skunk#1..(mostly sativa). The rest must be Cali orange skunk....Only one seed from the free pack of seeds from seeds direct germed...all the cali orange germinated... Oh well!!!!!

That is radiant heat, which is fine.

..Still don't know If I have male or Female so... doesn't really matter a whole lot..Kept the three, not two biggest plants, the other two where small and probably take up to much room.Anyway, Just growing for first time and want to be successfull at it.Getting a couple nice Girls is my first goal...minus two isn't going to change my odds a whole lot..lol..Ilike the support from you and appreciate your input and help! Would like to get a nice amount for self...Unfortunatley Laws where I live prevent me from going past three plants...Have wonderfull wife and two beautifull kids that I would hate to be away from If I where caught with more than three plants..I guess you could call me paranoid! Wish they would legalize small amounts for people Like me.I smoke for medical reasons and love this challenge growing...I will keep you posted on any changes on the three I have left..I will probably need help identifiying male/female when time comes.....Thanks again a Mill

What kind of light are you running ? I had some of the same problem. The tips don't look like nute burn, so either a light could be to close like HPS or MH light. Which can cause the leaf to curl trying to save water, low humidity plays a part in that. Or you need some calmag plus. I used a small amout of epson salt till my calmag came. Are all of them affected ? out of six only 3 or 4 were doing it on mine, all are northern lights. Hope this helps , this is what I found out just not to long ago. Calmag is calcium magnesium. Epson salt is magnesium salt. hang in there. Maybe one of the big guy's can help? When they start to sex you will know, white hair or balls. males show first.

Watch the reflectivity properties of the Mylar hitting the underside of the leaves. You could be raising the internal temperature of the plant drying it out or worse.

White is better to cover the grow rocks with.
