Here's one that practically NOBODY has even heard of, much less seen - LITTLE MURDERS. I saw it several times in the movies, years ago when it came out, and just bought the DVD. This is one of the craziest New York City films ever made. If you're not from New York, or another big city, you might not get it. The scenes with Donald Sutherland as a hippie minister, performing a wedding ceremony, decribing an acid party, were worth the price of admission, but the movie never made it big because it was a black comedy, written by Jules Feiffer, about random killings and people going crazy. It was directed by Alan Arkin (who also plays a manic Detective in the film), and starred Elliot Gould. Released in 1971.

Don't look at the "scene selections" on the DVD because it gives an important part of the plot away.
