We all have our own ways of watering, but it depends a lot on the medium as well. Some people like an airy soil mixture, I like mine fairly heavy. I just use vermiculite and potting soil. I water about every 2-3days. I let them dry out, in moderation of course. Never let them get bone dry, but don't have the soil mucky either, just a happy medium. Good luck.
