lighting question????
Hi,
If your floros are between 5000K and 6500K in color temperature it will be god for vegetative phase wich is ending between day 25 & 35.. depending wich strain your growing. Usually i end the veg phase at around day 30 and then i switch my light to a HPS one for blooming the ladies. You need a stronger light for flowering with lower spectrum light like a hps will provide.
Good luck & Happy Harrvest!

lighting question????
I usualy look at wattage. More wattage means more lumens. You should get come CFL that are around 50 watts... I have 4 54 watt CFL and they have been giving me a beautiful grow. How many plants are you growing? When using cfl make sure to keep the lights atleast 2 inches away, not much further away, and not much closer. What you have now will help you, but I'm telling you, you are going to want some CFL that are higher wattage. This is ok for the germination- seedling stages of growing, but to grow healthy babies, get a 50 watt CFL to replace your 30 watt one (or even use both) and just another extra 50watt light to go with the two 40 watt light. Believe me, the more light, the better grow you will have!

lighting question????
How much wattage does it take to grow 3-4 plants? I want to give them good lighting, but I'm strapped for cash. Lets just say I don't want to spend 150+. Can anyone give me some good advice on cheap lighting?
