Busted.

So it finally happend, I was busted, on the day of my 16 birthday none the less. It does suck because my parents are rather "disapointed" with me and I basicly can't see any of my friends for an unannounced, but surely long amount of time, but atleast I am not grounded from my computer. Of course we talked (and when I say we talked I mean they yelled at me till 5 am not listening to a word i say) my mother said the generic "oh i cant beleive you did that in my house" and my dad used the good ole "but you have so much potential". I try and expalin to them that everything they have been told is either lies or purely situational, but The worst thing is that they are brainwashed by all the government propaganda and everything and they are so blissfully ignorant that even if a scientist would tell them the facts right to their face, they would refuse to beleive it(did i mention my parents are republican?)
I know it is there house, and their rules, and i respect my parents and love them, so i wont be doing it again,atleast untill i am out of their house for good. The worst part was when my dad was talking about his friends son who had gotten into a wreck one winter. He was DRUNK and stoned(one of the worse conditions to be driving in) and was flung threw the windsheild headfirst into the piles of snow in the ditch. He died and when they tried to remove him from the snow, his face was frozen to the ground, thus they had to literaly rip him off the road. At this point i witnessed something i have never seen before, my father; who has a big mountain mans beard and an almost constant gruff look on his face, crying. He is so worried for his son, and doesnt want me hurt, and even though it was hard for me to watch this touches me.
But he is needlessly worried, im not going to get in a car fucked out of my head and drive somewhere, nor be driven by someone who is, im too responsible, and not interested in dieing quite yet. They also think they have somehow failed in raising me, and i think that is just bullshit. They are good parents, although a little over protective (but rightfully so i guess-_-) and i keep trying to explain to them that this was my choice, i educated myself about it and decided to do it,and nothing they could have done for me as a child can change that.
They are even thinking im going to need "help" to quit this. HAHAHAHA. Ive quit for almost a month once just to see if i could do it, and guess what, after those first few days of sleep problems i was fine. Sure there were times where a joint sounded exceptionaly good, but i never NEEDED it.
Anyways, i just kind of came to rant but mostly gather my thoughts. I know some of you will laugh and scoff at me, but thats fine, its my life, and my parents, and regretably there is nothing i can do about it.

it sucks man ive been through it i know exactly how you feel. my parents were more understanding but they still dont want me doing it till im older,,

Nope me and a friend were watching tv and smoked a joint or two. my mom got up to go to the bathroom during the night and i guess she could smell it. Didnt bust us during anything though, but it would have been so much cooler and funnier.
But they are so paranoid right now, i went to get a drink of water after i typed that long thing and they thought i was fucked up because of my eyes, but i wasnt on anything. My dad got really angery then, and said he was going to search me and my room and everything. Luckily my friend had told me about abit he had spilled and put in a bag and stashed under my bed and so i looked for it, and gave it to my dad. It wasnt that much, just a corner of a bag.

my dad doesnt seem to understand the strength of pot either. He thinks because its illegal, it will ruin your life.. But then again he is a ALCOHOLIC, and he once came home drunk, and stoned. He doesnt say much about smoking pot anymore, but still is against it (WTF?!) he is a moron due to alcohol...

all your parents love you and want the best you prolly shouldnt blaze in their house unless they are cool with it. your parents sound really cool and they should be brushed off as ignorant alot of the info the gov gives us is correct you just have to weed through the lies

Wow Stoneman your parents sound exactly like mine. I just wish they would wise the fuck up and realize its a hell of a lot better then me going out with friends boozing up and getting into an accident, not that i would drive drunk or have someone thats drunk or intoxicated drive me, i have a no driving till at least 4 hours after i smoke rule and that goes for drinking as well which i rarely ever do. Hope you work things out, and btw you could always blaze up in the woods or at a friends house, and still respect your parents home
