Don't bash socialism-communism. Communism-socialism is the perfect form of goverment for a peaceful soceity. It's a system based on no money(so no one can get greedy) and everyone doing their part and helping each other out. Marxist theory was genius, but seadly he didn't realise the world we live in. Socialism-Communism is the perfect form of government, but sadly most people are too lazy and when a dictator rises up saying that he has the perfect way to run the country the lazy people immediatly follow him thinking they can get a easy way out. Socialism-Communism would be a perfect system of government if all the stoners of earth left and inhabitated another planet.

Communists are my sworn enemies,and socialism ain't far behind..both systems,concentrate too much power and control,in the hands of un-elected officials and prevent the majority from ever making a better life for themselves,including financial independence. Both seek to replace God with themselves and control all speech and thought.

Look man,I'm just an old-fashioned feller,I believe in a traditional form of patriotism,you know..duty,honor and country..and most definitely,apple pie ! Although,pecan pie is my favorite..and I prefer Fords over Chevys. I've lived long enough to know--that there's a real and distinct difference,between the Left and Right,it's not just a political philosophy,but a way of life.

Whereas liberals will debate all day long on changing out a light bulb,us conservatives,need only one of us to change the bulb...

the country wasn't founded on left and right...it was tyranny vs. freedom...

why do you think bill clinton and bush, sr. are such good pals...and were before clinton 'won' the presidency...and why do you think hilary clinton hangs out with rupert murdoch...

there is no left and right at the top...they're both bringing you towards tyranny. what do you think it means when people are sworn to protect enemies foreign and DOMESTIC...you're following the domestic enemies of freedom.

I suppose I'm your sworn enemy then. But my vision of socialism is not like those enacted by so-called "communist" governments like China, Cuba, Vietnam, the USSR, etc. Your argument rests upon the false conclusion that common ownership of the means of production causes corrupt bureaucracy, but in reality, this only happens when the State (whose main purpose in any society is to protect the elite from the masses) is retained after the attempted abolition of capitalist exploitation, which of course creates a new elite even more exploitative than the capitalists. Communism thus cannot be separated from direct democracy, the ability of the people to directly exert control over their own communities (do not confuse with representative "democracy" where society is ruled by a wealthy few). True communism means common ownership of the means of production by the PEOPLE, not by some government bureaucracy or by the rulers of the fascistically-structured capitalist corporations. And history shows it is not impossible.

P.S. Every Democrat I know has been an ardent supporter of capitalism, defined by Webster's as "an economic system characterized by private or corporate ownership of capital goods, by investments that are determined by private decision, and by prices, production, and the distribution of goods that are determined mainly by competition in a free market". I can't think of a single Democrat who would disagree.
