you can do this easily without getting noticed man as long as your careful. It's much easier if you live in the suburbs but it is still pretty easy in a small city where cops aren't patrolling your streets all the time.
First of all take those sticky book cover things or tape and tape the outside of each window. I used the book cover but tape might work. Once it is taped you can just throw something at the window and most of the glass will stay on the tape and the windows fill fall into the car. Then unlock the car and do everything i said, and quickly bang up the car with a crowbar or something and run down the street where your friend is with a car already started up and drive away
