Space Shuttle...Will It Return Safely?
I really hope so, but I just have a feeling, things are much worse than NASA wants to admitt, I do NOT think the shuttle is going to do so well as it returns to earth.

Space Shuttle...Will It Return Safely?
Hmmmm! Now one of my friends from the US said that everytime the shuttle has gone up it has lost tiles. Does anyone know if this is true?? I thought only the last time (when it blew up) and this time (still in space)
If the tiles have always fallen off, maybe re-entry will go well.

I think theyve always had that tile problem during lift off and its not much of a risk only if a big amount of tile have been hit during lift off in the case of the shuttle that desintegrated during re-entry. Nasa postponed the coming back for a day or two so the astronauts could do some more check ups on the shuttle's body it seems they found a miniscule hole in one of the tiles that may cause the other tiles to heat up beyond their heating point and causing the ship to blow up. Hopefully theyll have a succesful re-entry, best of luck to them

One of the reasons behind the Space Shuttle was a reuseable aircraft was supposed to be cheaper, but it costs so much to maintain, that it's actually a lot more expensive than the space ships of the past. Maybe we should forget these romantic notions of a Space Shuttle and go back to the old days of disposable space ships.
Imagine growing weed in space. I wonder if the lack of gravity would make the weed more potent?

i think the space shuttle is just fine... they are using this story and the missing girl in aruba to keep us distracted from the daily US soldiers deaths on iraq and the whole karl rove thing ..i have written countless letters and emails to the major news networks in the US asking them to start covering real issue's instaed of replaying the same 2 story's over and over .. but i get a feeling im just pissin in the wind
