Has anyone here tried organizing a get-together for cannabis.com members who live in Texas? How many of you would be interested in attending such an event?

That sounds like a cool idea,but I think that we'd have to have 2 of em,one for the Houston area and one for the D/FW area. Those are the 2 places with the greatest concentration of cann.com members. I could possibly go to the D/FW area,but Houston is just a bit too far for me and my old car..lol. Austin is sort of between the 2,but then most folks would have to drive farther,than if they were in their respective area's.

It would most definitely be cool to git together..our first rule..leave politics at the door ! lol

Good point. I live in Corpus Christi, so going all the way to dallas is out of the question for me (8-10 hour drive) lol But I go to Houston all the time so that would be no problem. But it would be nice if more people contributed to this thread, just to see how interested everyone is. Torog, do you know anyone who would like to help out with organizing something in dallas?

nice, thoughts lets keep em rollin.......may be we could do a BBQ or something, every body put in 10-15 bucks and bring your own bud and have a smoke out and eat soem killer BBQ when we get the munchies......what yall ideas??? oooooh yeah and if there any vegataries bring your own salid!!! see thats the problem. If people took planes to get there they wouldn't be able to bring bud. Well they could but it would be very risky. What are the chances of cops busting the place? I mean even *I* could call nevada state police, send them a link, and if that doesn't give them probable cause they could always just show up because of the noise!

do you think it would be best to move all of the suggestions to a group e-mail or something?
