LST is low stem training.

Like the name implies, the main stem of the MJ plant is grown very close to the ground, much like a vine would grow.

Evey new node or so is anchored to the ground...thus the plant grows super low and only the secondary growths, which are your main bud sites grow tall...most other foilage is kept low to the ground.

Thus you can grow your plant essentially, sideways. This is excellent for grow spaces that have height issues.

The plant has a main stock right?
There are leaves that come off each side from the main stock.
That is a node. Each set of leaves protruding from the main stock is considered a node.

Node spacing is the distance in-between nodes.

Sex first appears at the space where the leaves meet up with the main stock (or node)

thnxs as always u showed me the way.
im only a week in2 my first dirt grow and already thinkin next time its hydro its seems the way 4word and a lot more efficent way 2 grow. ill start buyin now and when this grow is done ill try see what hppens
