Cloning experts, what do pre-roots look like?

I let mine get about 3" so I can spread them over the bottom layer of hydroton, then I fill it up to support main shaft...
yeah, I'll send you a tute' when I get a chance later...I ended up w/12 out of 14
a couple are still small rooted,but there coming so i'm waiting...later
