trust me, 'grasshopper'...it looks like you don't have your seeds covered, they look too wet...and imho I learned from a wise old grower to soak my seeds overnight and BAM
2-3 days=plates of sprouts...
yousaid"I'm also giving 24 hour light. Or should it be dark till the seeds poke through the soil and then give light?".......yes 24 hrs a day until they take root and you replant them in bigger pot for veg...keep it simple...one step at a time and you will be alright.
Read the growfaqs and you will see that almost all your questions have already been answered, then when you think you have a problem or want to try something different that you don't understand...just ask and 'they will come'...hope this helps
