should i be close to flowering this plant?

the fern is about 7 weeks and 1 day old... its 19"
tall and has 15 nodes, but the bottom 3 died off
a while ago.

the plant seems to be stretching out more as it
gets taller.

also, is this what you call alternating nodes? i have
one pic of the lower growth where the fan leaves are
straight across from each other, but in the other pic
of higher growth the fan leaves seem to be kind of
"stair" like...

i know my pics arent the best, im a pretty crummy
photographer, but can anybody tell any kind of sexing
happening? it just looks like lots of secondary type
growth shoots and signs of male or femaleness...

You could start flowering her any day you like. She is more than ready.

Yes, you have alternating stems, which indicate maturity on the plant.

No sexing is seen by me because you move the camera when taking the pics.

If you could stabilize the camera on the chair or table and get close ups at the nodes themselves, it would help.

The plant looks like an indica / sativa cross so it will at least grow 1.5 X the height it is now when flowering.

How long are you leaving the lights on for? If they're on a 24 hour cycle then you have to change to 12/12 and they'll show sex w/in ten days. But yeah you definately should start now if you havent already.

agreed, I had to start 12/12 before I could sex them, and then you have a few days to determine whether to kill a potential male once they show their sex. so go on, flower them...then let us see, again...latewood

friday will be 8 weeks veg. so ill probably start
flowering then. ill work something out for camera
stabilization. the pics werent that bad on the camera
screen, but once i got them on the computer they
looked horrible.

the seed was just bag seed so hopefully it will be
a nice cross.

what do you think a 3-4 foot plant like this could
yield if things go well during bloom?

Just get those babys onto 12/12 cycle man and it wont be long before u no there sex , like stealface said only about 10 days.Go for it and good luck...

thanks man... it wasnt always this way... i had pH issues
early on and nutrient problems around 2 weeks ago... but
i saved [her, hopefully] and now she is an awesome plant.

has been getting about an inch taller each day for the past
few days, but still no sexing... ~21 inches tall now...

am gonna put her into 12/12 on the 7th... 8 weeks veg. sounds
good, i just hope she doesnt get too tall... hoping of course that
shes a girl at all...

otherwise, i still havent gotten some seeds i ordered. hrm...
