does anyone have children that smoke?

Well my mother always smoked weed, I started at 12-ish. My son will be 14 in a couple of months at this point he is a "young" 14, nothing like I was at his age.

I encourage him to come to me with things like this. I remain open minded, that way I know he will come to me, without fear of punishment, or judgement. If at this point I found out he did drugs I would bribe his ass with whatever it took to stop. ~lol~ I would even stop too, if it helped.

When he gets older, I would encourage him not to do it, but if he did I would probably smoke with him, in his late teens anyway (17 maybe) As for selling it to him, I smoke it I don't sell it, not even to family ~lol~

I do hope that he is smarter than I am, and takes a different path! I use to hide it from him, never smoked it in the house, would never roll it around him, and at 3 my friend came over and I was in the garage, my sis let her in, and she asked my kid, Where is your mom? And he said out in the garage smoking a joint!

Fuck I was so upset. Since then I explain that pot is a drug and that it is addicting and that it is my choice as an ADULT! And hope that does it!

Also I have been a waitress/bartender most of my working life, I have seen it all in the bars, I tell my son that I would much rather see him have a hoot than a drink! If either should be against the law, it should be booze!

no parent that has a back ground like your dad [ ive got one very simular ] wants there kid to go through the shit they did ...stick with the weed and leave the other shit alone and you will live a long and happy prison free life .. your lucky to have a old man that cares about you and worrys about you ..my real father was a fucking nite mare complete control freak asshole ..

Ya my dad is one of those freaks of nature i guess.. Total Fuck-up, but really cares about his Kids..I have to give it to him tho, since hes been out, he is a different person, i guess time will do that to a person tho

I keep with the natural drugs bro.. Weed, shrooms once in a blue moon, unless my dude has a batch of those killer majik mushies, then ill splurge, but mostly just a pothead..

my dads strange. My dad was part of the punk movement in England and was in a band that was succesful and his band is on "the punk movie"... but yeah, his band opened for the clash and he did a show with the boomtown rats and stuff. When he caught me he was like " Well guess what? you better not fuckin smoke weed because since now your smoking weed you'll soon start doing harder drugs like speed " and he started telling me how he's found his friends OD'd in there apartments because they did too much speed or heroin. I belive him, he was a crazy guy back then. But my mom is umm... strange. She comes from a weird family. My grandpa was raised by nazi's ( he isn't one though ) but his fatherly figure chauffered hitler and liked to do things like shoot apples off his wifes head. My mom is overprotective ... whenever i go to a friends, i'll be walking to my friends door after she drops me off... and she'll yell at me to come back to the car and she'll be like " You havn't been smoking weed? Don't do anything foolish" even though i havn't smoked weed for almost 7 months. I mean i know she cares, but i have no personal space whatsoever. She wanted me to stop posting on this site...

oh lord i don't wish my parents smoked. They'd probably end up.. stealing it from me or something. It'd be too weird anyways. right now i'm pretty sure they know i smoke. they never really say anything though. my mom doesn't care at all and my dad cares but he won't ever ask me about it. he doesn't confront problems. my dad's gf however really cares and she'll ask me about it if i come home smelling of it or my eyes are red. she can tell right away if someones been smoking because the way they talk. IDK that's just what she says.

My step-dad doesn't care because he used to be a coke-dealer. at least, i don't think he cares.

ya my dads a cop so hes a hardass but he doesnt live with me, me and my sis blaze all the time, i also blaze with my dads 2 brothers. his side of the family is fucked
