Are they alright? pics posted
I'm being told by people (friends who have seen other plants or have grown plants) that the leaves are not supposed to yellow (fan leaves). Then on this site I read that this is very normal and I'll be left with just the tower of buds in the fall. Can the members check out the pictures of my plants and see what everyone thinks? I use the Miracle grow fert and am growing outdoors. There are 5 plants.

Yes that's not right.
Write up something about your grow in detail.
Like what nutrients you are feeding them, how often.
Are they in potting soil in the ground?

Well, at first I had the plants inside and was planning an indoor grow. The lighting just wasn't right and I couldn't find the recommended lighting at the hardware store. I live in a very small community so things can be hard to find.
3 plants died I suspect over watering and improper lighting. I moved them outside and they grew really well. They began to slow down in their growth so I planted some in the ground with organic soil mixture and watering every 3 weeks with miracle grow plant food(now I've heard this is a questionable product as far as toxins are concerned) 15-30-15 water soluble kind.
I over watered about a month ago but now I wait until they are quite dry and try to keep the soil loose and airy, but not so loose that the plants are floppy.

Those plants all have severe yellowing...not normal yellowing...
And pic #5...that has something seriously wrong with it.
I wish I could help but I have never really studied outdoor grows in detail enuff to diagnose this one.
You need some help on these.....
FOr the future,., never do the same thing to ALL the plants.
Do at least a half and a half to help minimize widespread problems and to identify the good things.
If I were you, I would throw away the Miracle Grow.
Add some fish emulsion...5-1-1.
But thats what I would do and I speak for me alone.
Good Luck.

This abuse of MG is killing me
Some swear by it well others call it shit.
I have no idea but from the pictures I see of other types of plants, they do look a lot better
Is MG missing something Marijuana needs?
