    Check out one of the Grateful Dead concerts from the late 60's. You can download/stream them legally from www.archive.org.

    Forgot my absolute favorite --

    Spirit - Future Games (A Magical Kahauna Dream) - 1977

    This album has a magical flow to it -- get it on CD so you don't have to flip the album (like anyone here has albums)

    Can't even believe someone else heard of White Witch and their stoner anthem "It's So Nice To Be Stoned"

    Hawkwind is also very trippy -- whichever album has "sonic attack" on

    Also -- don't rip me too bad

    the velvet underground are amazing to listen to when your stoned

    and the beatles. on vinyl of course

    i don't know if eighties indie is too new for some of you, but i love it's a shame about ray album by teh lemonheads when im wasted
