Ha, thanks, Mono, I don't think you could give a grower a nicer compliment (especially a newbie like me)! Would you believe I have three macro lenses, but all are for 35mm film cameras? As far as digital, I swipe my wife's point and shoot for these pics. I'm working on a converter, though. The trichs look pretty cool at 60x.

Clever: vertical growth has slowed to less than 1/4" per day. I definitely have enough room for all but two of the kolas. Those two might have to undergo some creative bending. I was worried right at the end of veg, but I'm now more psyched about my smallish grow area than before. If I'd bent and tied these like Hardonna, there would be no issue at all.

Chillin: yeah, it was like a pet died when 'she' turned male. And it was like Santa Claus died when HD left us. But I guess we just buy a new pet, convert to Judaism, and life will march on...

And Mono, my bro, I foresee a cold, snowy epic day on the horizon.

Just a quick Flower Day 40 update...

Who was it that told me to add an MH?

To quote a line from the movie Tommy Boy: "I can just hear you getting fatter."

Maybe the timing of a growth spurt was cooincidence, but about 30 hours of added MH has shown a noticeable fattening of the buds.

Ha, I've been on a screwy work schedule so I've just been seeing them enough to check the trichs. I had planned on a 60 day flower until HD started talkin' a possible 10 to 12 week flower...

Jeez , 70 to 84 days? That's as much as another 40 days. If the buds really are going to keep fattening up for 40 more days, then great, I guess. I can't even picture the buds 40 days bigger, but it's a nice thought.

well as long as the trichs need is how long i would flower and im sure they would get insane by 80days of flower. is there anyway u can slow the trich maturing process so u can get huge buds with a more active high(only reason i say more active is high is cuz i have heard the less mature the trichs the less couchlock/burnout u have)?

I believe HD had said that to have your plant reach it's genetic potential you give it ideal growing conditions---light/dirt/nute/ph/temp/etc/---and then just follow the trichs and nail the ending. What you do through veg sets up what you are able to do in flower. And it's true, since my girl that I did extra fan leaf tying to expose secondaries has much better secondary buds.

I'm starting to see some cloudy trichs, so there's no way they are going another 40 days.

Just a quick Flower Day 47 update...

I fed the last nutes a few days ago with just a very weak shot of 1-7-6 Cactus Juice...I suppose they've shifted to using up nutes in the fans, which are dying off fast. Everything looks pretty ragged right now. Trichs on some buds are getting cloudy. They are also using less water.

Firstly, sorry Clever (and DaBuh and others that were following this) for disappearing, but work has been nuts and I've been happy just to keep the girls watered and alive and haven't had time to post.

Okay, I was being lazy.

This is Day 99 of this grow. 46 days veg and 53 days of flower. I have four girls left alive.

I killed my first girl tonight. Trichs had gone all cloudy and I wanted this mostly-indica girl to be heady instead of a body stone.

I did a quick manicure (I'm going to separate them further, but wanted to get a quick pic) and have them hung.

I weighed the main kola (obviously the one next to the vodka bottle). Any guesses as to the wet weight?
