Just a quick update on Flower Day 21...

The buds all continue to grow and clump together. Vertical growth seems to have slowed. I removed four of eight CFL's and now just have a couple low and couple behind the plants. They are all getting sticky to the touch, with a deeper smell to them.

Harddon, a couple of questions if you get a chance to read this:

You cut nutes on Whore and Cunt after two weeks of flowering; is that what you'd do again?

And you cut back their water to create a dry environment after flower day 20; is that also what you'd do again?

And, holy crap, their pics blow me away every time I go back for info.

NO I cute nutes off at week four or 5 I think. I cut off the first brand of nutes I was using after 2 weeks...

Then I switched to Schultz Cactus....for the next 3 I think,,,so I cut nutes 3 weeks prior.

I also SuperThrived all the way thru.

Yes, I made them starve for water.....but the lava rock base enabled that. The rocks would maintain the moisture and leach into the soil....By the time the soil would be dry, so would all the rocks, the roots exposed into the rocks and all the soil from the top down would be totally dry.

Yes I would starve them for water again...make the fan leaves wilt in more precise terms.

I would change nothing and yes I would do it again. I couldnt have been happier with those parts of the grow. Many things I would change...but not those...

Awesome, thanks. They seem to really like the cactus juice. And the lava rock makes great sense. I'll use it for my next grow. I actually have about 30 lbs of lava rock illegaly collected from Volcanos National Park over the years. Funny that you aren't supposed to take lava out of the park; sort of like not taking dirt from Yosemite or water from the Atlantic. But I want to use it for the sentimental value of growing with something from cool trips. Next time I'm in Mexico, I'm loadin' up my carry-ons with bat guano.

And, always wear a mask when fucking with it

Make sure the lava rock is the red / rusty kind. The black rock is absent iron and some other shit I don't remember.

Also, its GREAT to take some rock and bash it with a hammer in a pillow case. It creats a lot of dust and that dust is wonderful mixed into the soil

Makes BIG BUDS in my opinion

Soak the red rock in proper water overnight before you use it for the first time....it penetrates millions of pores and won't dry out your grow from the first water.

hey, a bit off topic but ive been collecting crystals from my grinder for a while, and i now have a big ol pile and i was wondering what the best way to smoke crystals it? help!

Go to overgrow.com... check out how to make Hash and Oils....

With all the keef you have, you could make hash... Quick answer? Rub the keef (crystals) against your hands until they start clumping together... that's hash.

I too collect trichs from my grinder.

However there is never enuff for hash......plus its too wasteful to make hash.

The best way I have found to use the collected trichs is to vaporize them

Oh. Don't have a vaporizor?

Place them in a clean pipe...with a clean fresh screen. Light the OUTSIDE of the bowl or light the outside of the glass pipe with one of those crack lighters.

DOnt put the flame on the trichs....just the heat.
