I love your updates

One thing..you are wasting use of your CFL's by having them near the top canopy like that. Your HPS will power thru those areas. They just create unneeded heat and cast shadows when they are that high.

Lower them. All the CFL's will really do is PREVENT mass defoilaging which is a good thing for the health of the plant.

But being that high, isnt really doing anything to benefit your environment.

I would lower them ASAP...or turn them off.

Ha, thanks, you answered a question I never asked: why I had so few dead fan leaves. I've followed lots of grows and wondered why mine where hanging in there so long. I mean, not saying I'm doing better than those---I'm certainly not--- just wondered why my girls were a little different.

I'll kill a couple CFL's and lower the rest.

Its not....

I meant to say keeping from defoilaging is a good thing

Anyhow, kill the up top lights or move them below. Just didnt want you to encoureage deforestation based on my earlier response.

No oops, HD, it read right. Or at least I just assumed you were saying "live" leaves were a good thing, although lower fans will die as the plant matures.

In any case, the remaining CFL's are lowered.

The smell, DaBuh? Hmmm, the smell you ask...when you first open my kitchen door an unmistakeable wall of skunky, pot smell waps you pretty hard. If you were to take a well used water bong and smash it in the Acme produce department, you'd know what my kitchen smells like. But then you walk upstairs toward the grow closet and you start picking out individual smells, like the unique tangy odor of Superthrive...then you get the musky aroma of bat guano, which reminds me of my grandma's horse barn...there's a little vinegar smell and a little taste of warm soil. It smells like life, DaBuh...life.

And HD's gonna comp me a book!!!
