I'm clearing our an old patch of Pachysandra & I need to know how to chemically destroy the patch so I can plant new fruit trees. Can I use Lye (red devil) from around the house? Or is there a lethal dosage of H2O2 I could use? I need to use something where I can water and clear the chemicals out in a matter of weeks (for new bushes and trees to grow).

The patch is just too thick with Pachysandra. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
