Hate Crimes Against Gays: A Real Problem

This is a list of people who were murdered between 1992-1994 just because they were gay, transgendered, or bisexual. I dont want to even think about how many more people have died since then!

Even though I'm a right-wing Christian,I do not advocate violence towards gays,just because they are gay or bisexual or transgendered,however,when they commit crimes as was done to Jesse Dirkhising,the 13 year-old boy,who was sexually assaulted,raped,sodomized,beaten,tortured and finally suffocated to death,after a very long night of Hell..I advocate the death penalty for such cases.

I'm curious,how do you feel about the penalties advocated and called for,in regards to homosexuals,in fundy islamic countries,like Saudi,the ultimate penalty for homosexuality there,is death. However,just recently,over 100 gay men were rounded up and meted out sentences that called for 100 lashes and a couple years or so,in prison..how do you feel about that ? Personally,I think it's terrible, what say you ?
