heres a story you might like.in high school i played football and baseball so i humg out with the jocks as well as the stoners.anyway i was at a party and all the idiot meat head jocks got roaring drunk and started ranting and raving about wanting to beat up someone who is gay.they drove to the montrose area of houston(boys town) looking for a fight.they returned to the party about 3 hours later with broken noses and all bloodied.they got their ass whooped by two transvestites(there were four of the jocks).

Howdy Mojavpa,

Even though I'm a right-wing Christian,I do not advocate violence towards gays,just because they are gay or bisexual or transgendered,however,when they commit crimes as was done to Jesse Dirkhising,the 13 year-old boy,who was sexually assaulted,raped,sodomized,beaten,tortured and finally suffocated to death,after a very long night of Hell..I advocate the death penalty for such cases.

I'm curious,how do you feel about the penalties advocated and called for,in regards to homosexuals,in fundy islamic countries,like Saudi,the ultimate penalty for homosexuality there,is death. However,just recently,over 100 gay men were rounded up and meted out sentences that called for 100 lashes and a couple years or so,in prison..how do you feel about that ? Personally,I think it's terrible, what say you ?

One thing that really pisses me off is when I hear some right-wing Christian talk about homosexuals as child molesters, as if pedophila and homosexuality are interchangable.

So I don't understand why bringing up a child murdered by a pedophile has anything to do with hate crimes against gays... In fact one of the murdered in the article was gay child so that makes the straight guy the child killer.

There are a lot of STRAIGHT WHITE CHRISTIAN PEDOPHILES .
In fact there are probably more if you include the Catholic priests and Protestant preachers...

HATE CRIME IS WRONG there is NO justification for it. PERIOD.

The reason crimes against gays have gone up in this country is because we have religious extremist spreading their biblical hate. I wonder if Bush's "global struggle against extremist" will include his own backyard?
