    Over There

Anyone get a chance to watch this?

Stephen Bochco's new drama series "Over There" debuts on the FX TV channel tonight. There are few political topics in America today as controversial as the war in Iraq yet the producers of "Over There" insist they are harboring no hidden agendas.

Really graphic! I gave it a two thumbs up!

I don't know anything about the show, but it's the dumbest title I've ever seen...

I saw it and thought it was pretty good. Didn't seem to have much of a plot, more of a battle play by play like Black Hawk Down. Not sure how it can continue to go on as a series like that. I'll probably watch it again next week to see how it goes. Gotta question the timing of it though. It seems pretty insensitive. I mean I'd hate to watch it if I were the wife, husband, parent, etc of anyone actually "over there".

Reality can be a good slap in the face. It showed both sides and what the consequences are. It's not like an old John Wayne movie where the bullets fly and all that the good guys get is a little nick.

It seemed kinda... well I dont know the word I'm looking for, but i didn't like it much, but thats just the first episode so who knows, maybe I'll like it after i see a couple more episodes. I didn't like deadwood the first time I saw it, and now its one of my favs.

I thought that whole thing with the guy asking about everyones nicknames was kinda lame. It was uhh ... hokey, yeah i guess thats the word I was lookin' for.

Strange that I liked NYPD Blue and not this. Maybe its the lack of Milch that makes the difference.
