Nutrient help (floramicro+bloom)
Are you suppose to mix floramicro with one gal. and then mix another gallon with florabloom? I was told to use 2tsp of micro and 2tsp of bloom in two different gallons and water using the micro first, then the bloom. Will this work? Too much fert? Can i use spring water or only distilled? I've been reading that your suppose to use the same container, mix micro first, then bloom.
any help would be greatly appreciated.4x4Turbo Reviewed by 4x4Turbo on . Nutrient help (floramicro+bloom) Are you suppose to mix floramicro with one gal. and then mix another gallon with florabloom? Nutrient help (floramicro+bloom)
Are you talking about General Hydroponics Flora series 3-part nutrients?
You mix them all in the same gallon of water, I mix micro first then grow then bloom in that order. There is a chart in the FAQ section for that brand of nutrients.
Yes spring water is fine; I assume water from the store. Distilled water is good for seedlings and clones. A rooted plant likes a little more minerals in their water.

Just a little
confused! If you have micro and bloom then you most likely have 2 of 3-part system; you are missing GROW...in early stages you use grow as opposed to or in conjunction with bloom! the micro nutrients help with the uptake of the others...most of the time and flora has it, you can go to their site and get their instructions and it will help you understand, but there are charts and stuff that Zandor posted. he uses ghflora 3-part...latewood

Nutrient help (floramicro+bloom)
I didn't buy the grow because my plants are already 4ft tall and are in the transitional phase to flowering. I was told i didn't HAVE to get the floragrow. My most important question is whether or not i hurt the plants by not mixing the bloom and micro and still watering them with each one. OH!, and i accidentally got the flower wet with either the bloom or micro(cant remember which one). Could it burn the leaves if the diluted ferts touched?

No it will not burn the leaves. Just next time mix the nutrients together. The problem not having the grow is you are missing some nutrients. You use the grow formula up to week 9 of flower. Not in large amounts but you still use it.
