Interesting outdoor grow, advice needed.
I'm growing in 100% sand. I picked the spot because it is very undetectable and the plants receive tons of sunlight. Its also very hot and humid there. I lost about 3-4 fan leaves on 3 of my plants and im trying to figure out why. The rest of the plant is fine but several of the fan leaves turned completly yellow. I had the plants indoor for a month before transplanting outdoors and i can tell the plants stretched a lot. Their 4ft tall now and some have 9in of stem inbtw the nodes.
Is sand bad to grow in?
What kind of flowering nutes do you guys recommend?
I'll try to post pics before the end of this week.
BTW, I have DEER problems too
I was down there today and i saw a doe 15 ft from my plants. It was hissing at me too. Even after it ran away i could hear it hissing every couple minutes.
Sad thing is....When i walked up to my car parked on the side of the road i saw the doe's baby fawn get hit by a jeep. It jumped the gaurd rail and ran out into the road because i was running towards my car. ( i heard the mom hiss at me while i was heading towards the car and i thought i would try to scare it away by running up the hill. I've lost a couple plants from the deer so i'm kind of happy it got hit. Maybe the mom wont eat my plants anymore4x4Turbo Reviewed by 4x4Turbo on . Interesting outdoor grow, advice needed. when something that lives and has a soul even if it's a baby deer ..it's still a living soul so you would please refrain from wishing something to be dead over a few pot plants that all you plan on doing is smoking them after they finish their life cycle thanks
as for transporting from inside to outside sometimes the transport can slow the process down on your plants growing
as for the fan leaves they could be in the life cycle change were they begin to switch over to flowering but it can also be so many other things causing the yellowness on your True Leafs so can keep and eye out for the top True leafs if they turn yellow then you may have a bigger problem then just DEER [/FONT]

I doubt the leaves died because of the life cycle change. Someone correct me if i'm wrong.
I'm guessing the sand doesn't have any nutrients and its because of a nutrient deficiency. Do i need to get flowering nutes w/nitrogen?
Yah it sucks the fawn got hit but it didn't die. They wrapped it up in a blanket and i guess they took it to a animal hospital.

The yellowing of lower leaves that are not getting enough sun is very normal...Mine just did that too...PLK is right ,listen to everything she said.Good job on injuring that deer.Just kidding,I'm sure thats not what you intended to happen!
But just go get some deer repelant stuff.I think it's animal piss that you hang on a branch w/ a soaked rag.Good Luck
I think the leaves that die right before flowering are making room for the sun to hit the lower buds.Every post I make is purely fictional.
