At the very least mayby the govt. should control the costs in the us for medical care.

Amsterdam says he pays very little? Funny the last time I lived in the US the cost for my family was 900 a month! I now pay 98 euros a month for private medical care, even though I can use the government of Spains medical coverage for free.

I grew up a long fuc kin time ago.....

it isnt a deep thing,govt. run health care means long waiting lists and people die,demand outpaces supply so the govt. must ration care.it also means that patients are subjected to substandard care because budget conscious bureacrats SELDOM approve pricey new technologies as they try to save money for their budgets.there is no question our health care system isnt perfect and that should be fixed,but any "universal health care" should be avoided like the plague.

Yeah, that's why my hospital got a brand new PET scanning machine 2 weeks ago...

and what?our health care system here is much more effective than canadas.thats why alot of you come here for better quality treatment(and alot faster)
