These kids...19-20 year olds decide they wanna grow. So I break it down into the simplist terms. Get GOOD seeds...good light good soil and we go from there....They were doing this without my help but begged for it...So they get a lil light 250 MH and a fluro. They got the seedlings started I told em keep it as close as possible to the plant.....they asked me to come check it out and heres this lil ass newly formed seed....sticking out of soil. Good right?? Well heres the funny part...those dipshits didnt listen and stuck 3 seeds in a 5 gallon buck in about 4 inches of dirt. The light was sitting on top of the bucket...at least 16 inches away....lol I said man dont you idiots listen. They insisted it would work.....and today I asked how the plants were...lol they said DEAD. I said next time MAYBE YA SHOULD LISTEN

You don't keep a 250 watt metal halide close to a tiny little seedling! thats fucking crazy. You'll kill them if a metal halide or a fluoro is as close as possible. Seedlings die from the sun sometimes because it's so friggin bright. I don't grow indoors but I would put my light 16 inches away from a tiny seedling. But i dont know anything so ignore everything i say muahaha.

That's why I try to learn everything I can about growing. So when I start my own grow some day, I can look up the specific information and go, "Oh!, I see,". I at least try to learn everything I can before attempting something. The interesting thing is, I can't see, so how am I going to tell if the seeds have sprouted? I guess I can feel where the little green plant is sticking up from. Too bad there isn't many blind people growing weed though, I don't think. hahahahaha

I don't even bother. It's to late to start growing now anyways.
